CloudWave Inc.
Before I was hired as Director of Marketing at CloudWave, they had virtually no activity on social media. Since CloudWave is B2B, our primary focus is their LinkedIn page.
In 2023, I improved reach by 430%, impressions by 340%, and engagement by 220% by posting three times per week and monitoring which types of content received the most views and engagement. I have maintained an 11.66% engagement rate over the past 2 years (whereas the industry average is 1.61 - 1.73%.

One of the most effective ways to distill complex technology concepts into an approachable format is through long-form video content. I developed a YouTube channel for CloudWave and created videos with educational tips for commonly-used cloud software and promotional information about cloud-based apps.
Influencer Marketing
Live Love Local
My passion project outside of my full-time job is my blog "Live Love Local" where I write about fun and unique things to do in the Dallas area. I also share photos and reels on Instagram highlighting local businesses, events, and activities. As a local influencer, I've had the opportunity to partner with brands like The Dallas Museum of Art, The Dallas Arboretum, The Gaylord Texan Hotel, The Galleria Mall, Downtown McKinney, Discover Wylie, and countless other smaller businesses.

Fat Straws Boba Tea
Social Strategy
As the Marketing Coordinator for Fat Straws Boba Tea, I directed content strategy and creation for their social media channels. I created graphics using Canva, shot photos with my DSLR camera, and produced reels using trending sounds and visuals to help them reach new customers and stay engaged with their current fans.
Before I started, Fat Straws was losing followers week over week. In 6 months I steadily grew their follower count by 9.5% from 10,400 to 11,500 using organic content.


Influencer Marketing
Connecting with influencers and coordinating opportunities for them to share content about the products at Fat Straws was crucial to both online growth and in-store sales. Here are a few examples of content created by my connections in the Dallas foodie community for Fat Straws.

Freelance Social Media Services
From 2020-2022, I managed social media and digital marketing services for a local flower shop called Lakeside Florist. I scheduled regular photo shoots of their products, designed graphics that aligned with their branding, promoted their events in the local news, and ran paid ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
